THE PATH IS NEVER STRAIGHT, THIS IS HOW I CREATED SOMETHING I LOVE.

Becoming a mum for the second time in 2014 I felt lost and disconnected from myself and women in my life.
Being an older mum this time, I felt lonely and looking back I wasn’t able to understand my lack of vulnerability, so I distracted my big feelings and guilt like always with big creations.

Somehow my daughter’s birth was telling me to make this happen for myself but first for others.

As mixed media artist I began playing with watercolours and inks to make beautiful sustainable fabrics while she was having her sleep. I designed garments to express our feminine, a range garments that would suit lots beautiful shapes and sizes.

“Creating the Keokai Tribe has meant for me the rediscovery of connection.”
Connection to women from all over Australia and the world who are now wearing my creations.
I get to work with them at festivals and markets and connect with them as customers.
Women who inspire me with their stories and authenticity and strength.
They have become mentors’, best friends and most of all my biggest and most generous teachers.
I love to see you walk away lighter and radiant, in something that reminds you how beautiful you are.
You tell me how many comments you get as you walk the streets in Keokai but I know it’s how you wear it really that reflects the light you shine.

My values are reflected by Keokai. We try to only work with female work places and contribute to female communities in need. Empowering women brings a meaning to this label that makes us bold.

I am so blessed because now my life is full of meeting new ladies working with inspiring goddesses and designing new garments with you all in my mind.
I do this for you

You are my muse.
It’s my gift to you because I love you and want you to thrive and know the path forward is women supporting women in this world. Women rising to serve other women.
I believe in

“BEING THE CHANGE, I WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD”
